Pieter de Ruiter

artistic director and choreographer Dansity Amsterdam,

Pieter de Ruiter studied at the Scapino Dance Academy in Amsterdam and danced with Introdans in Arnhem, the Lyon OpÈra Ballet in France, and the Batsheva Dance Company in Israel. As a choreographer he has made pieces for a number of companies including the Netherlands Dance Theater, The Dutch National Ballet, Ballet Braunschweig and Ballet Mannheim in Germany, Aterballetto in Reggio Emilia, Italy and for companies in the Czech Republic and in Brazil. Recently he has produced pieces in collaboration with the Orchestra 'De Ereprijs' in Apeldoorn, and the Grand Theatre in Groningen.

Pieter de Ruiter has won a number of awards, including the first prize at the International Choreographic Competition in Groningen, the Perspektief Award, and the Philip Morris Award for Art in the dance category.

Eva Villanueva

Eva Villanueva was trained at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Arnhem, Holland. After she gained experience as a dancer with Dansgroep Krisztina de Ch’tel in Amsterdam, she worked as a freelance-dancer in various free productions. Since 1998 she closely works together with choreographer Pieter de Ruiter
