RAGNA
For the Twools 9 program of the Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, Pieter de Ruiter and Eva Villanueva made the choreography 'Ragna'.
This solo is both inspired by the beautiful dancer Bryndís Brynjólfsdóttir and on the mythological songs of the poetic 'Edda'; the most important Icelandic mediaeval source on Norse mythology and Germanic heroic legends.
For 'Ragna' composer Harry de Wit wrote a new music composition.
